TEST ADMINISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE
LANGUAGE-FREE PROGRAMMER/ANALYST APTITUDE TEST (LPAT)

Two main goals of test adminstration are:

The first goal is achieved by giving the same instructions and time limit to all candidates. The second goal is achieved by seating candidates so they cannot see each other's monitors, and by not allowing candidates to walk around with a test booklet.

Time Limit: 2 hours

Materials:

1 test booklet per candidate
A few sheets of blank paper for candidates to use to work out problems while they take the test.

Instructions

(1)  Seat candidates so that they cannot see each other's monitors.

(2)  Make sure each candidate's monitor displays the Candidate Welcome Page.

(3)  Give each candidate an LPAT test booklet.

(4)  Tell the candidates that they have 2 hours to take this test.

(5)  Ask the candidates if they are ready to take the test.

(6)  Tell the candidates to follow the instructions on the monitor and begin the test.

(7)  After 2 hours, stop the test. Tell the candidates to click the submit button at the bottom of the page.

(8)  Make sure you have all test booklets before allowing the candidates to leave.

Note: The LPAT grades will be sent automatically and immediately after the candidate clicks on SUBMIT. The grades will go to the email address of the contact person in the organization, as prearranged when the account was opened or as updated.

Note: When the time comes to dispose of a test booklet, do so in a secure way.  Shredding is the preferred method of disposal.
